Vtech V.Smile V-Motion TV Learning System

We give the Vtech V.Smile V-Motion TV Learning System a HUGE five stars! Vtech recently sent us a system to try out and review and my 3.5 year old absolutely LOVES it! We used the game which came with the system to test it and he loved the racing and dexterity games.

Some of the great features are: The system can be run by either batteries or an A/C adaptor (not included) which means it can be used in the car if you're lucky enough to have TV screens. The controller can be switched so if your child is right handed or left handed they can use it with ease. The controller is ingenius as you can either use the joystick or thumb pad, OR shake the controller to make actions happen. It's up to your child and their level of ability. It's truly a plug and play system and took about two minutes to hook up and have it running.

The only thing I can think of to criticize is that it doesn't come with an A/C adaptor, but these can be purchased very inexpensively at most electronics stores.

Within the first few minutes, my son was getting the hang of it and doing things on his own. It teaches you letters, numbers and helps with dexterity and hand-eye coordination as well. While we sat with him the first few times he played the games, he was soon choosing his own games and navigating through the options without our assistance. It's amazing how easy it is to use! We still sit with him, but now it's just to cheer him on and give him the reassurance and reinforcement he loves to hear!

This is a great idea for a Christmas gift! We've actually now purchased several new games for him as presents and can't wait to see how he does. The games themselves are smart too, utilizing characters kids are familiar with such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Dora the Explorer, The Wonder Pets and many more. Our son and my husband and I all give this a hearty FIVE STAR rating and highly recommend the product!

Thank you VTech for giving us the opportunity to review this product! Once again, VTech has come through with a quality and fun product for little kids to learn with!

You can visit VTech at their website of: http://www.vtechkids.com/ as they have a wide range of high quality products.

Pampers

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Pampers for their exceptional customer service! I recently purchased a large box of Pampers Cruisers and was having trouble with them leaking-which is very unusual and not the quality I have come to expect from Pampers products. I contacted their Customer Service department and was contacted back both by email and with a letter explaining that they had changed their design a bit. They included some advice on making sure I was using the right size and how to get the best out of their product.

In addition to that, they even sent me manufacturer coupons enough to cover the cost of a new box and then some! I always like to point out superior customer service as that is what will keep me coming back again and again to a product! Please visit http://www.pampers.com/en_US/home/ to see all their products and contact information.

The Littlest Golfer

Hello everyone! As some of you know, my father is a professional golfer and everyone in my family are pretty involved in golf. Therefore, it came as no surprise to us that my son is also showing a love for the game.

I came across this website I wanted to pass along to you all. It's called The Littlest Golfer (http://www.thelittlestgolfer.com/index.php). It has the most adorable clothes and gear for even the youngest golf fanatics! Very unique stuff and a great way for kids to get involved in the sport-not to mention wearing some really cool togs!

I am in negotiations with them right now to send me some product samples which I can review for you all. Please keep an eye out for upcoming reviews on this fantastic site and their products! Take a moment and become a fan of their Facebook page as well! I wish there were more sites like this for kids sports gear!

In the meantime, I've posted some new reviews-so please take a look at our site (www.mommysopinion.com) and peruse at your leisure! Hope this finds everyone well!

Sign up for Websites

I found that if you sign up for baby company websites, they will send you pretty great coupons and alerts deals! I would recommend singing up for at least these companies:

Gerber.com
Pampers.com
Huggies.com
Luvs.com (sign up for all the diapers companies when you are pregnant as you don't know which diaper your baby will end up using)
Similac.com
Enfamil.com (again, sign up for all the formula companies when you are pregnant as you don't know which one your child will take to best)
Crayola.com
Babiesrus.com
toysrus.com
Johnsonsbaby.com

I'm sure there are many more that I can't think of off hand. Basically, any site where you can get a membership means you'll probably get coupons in the mail or even product samples, craft ideas etc. It will help around birthday and Christmas time as well. Toys R Us offers a rewards program which is free. If you are formula feeding, I know Similac sends you $5 off coupons every couple of weeks until you child is about a year old.

Hint: Have your mom, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandmother-in-law and anyone else in your family to sign up as well. When they receive the coupons in the mail, you've multiplied your discounts!
